exactly, star wars is all about as small fucking inbred aristocracy fighting for the universe.

star trek is about people who WORK together to escape death and fulfill their mission.

sure, the captain shouldn't be going to EVERY dangerous mission where they could send a low-ranking officer (who the fuck is left in charge?). and sure, the enterprise could use some seatbelts so that they aren't tossed about in every explosion. wtf?
