now that i've read your post:
mr. glice,
"serif" and "sans-serif" are not variations on helvetica.
"serif" and "sans-serif" are still a technical, descriptive detail of the typeface.
by themselves they are not "typefaces" they are "font types" or "types of typefaces".
therefore, i conclude that my "horny" premeditated response at your post was not incorrect and, considering your manners, nor inadequate.
