I used to really not get his work, but over time it's grown on me. some of the compositions are amazing.

.. we are naming all australians. which is okay as I don't often get to talk about them on international forums.

(oh crap,apparently james gleeson died in october last year .. there goes my hopes of getting a painting at under 50k now.. )

james gleeson WAS probably my favourite oz living artist. He blows my mind. The earlier semi porno stuff doesn't hit me, but since he gave up on including his dream dude in every painting, they are epic. If I had money I would buy a lot of them.
