i mean, in all actuality 9/11 was a pretty scary day for me as well. that was my first day of high school & i'm from manhattan. i knew many people who were right there. including my brother & my best friend's father. my mom was a rescue worker. fortunately nobody i knew died then and there (i know people who've suffered some pretty horrible complications)

but still...some good humor never hurt. it's better than blind patriotism.
