i know what you mean man (and not just so that i'm one of those "intelligent people" haha)
the only thing is I take a bit more of an optimistic look on it. sounds a bit silly given how miserable it all sounds but you gotta take inspiration from it, no matter how minute it is. to go with a totally overused phrase:
"life is what you make of it"
completely cliched but nonetheless completely true. if it's going to get you down, then don't. there's just a side to it all you haven't seen yet.
