i wasn't really referring to you, just happen to know a few people who complained about people being bad in bed, while they couldn't tell them what they wanted. i've never had a problem with being clear since i know what i like, and there's no point in lying still while someone is trying but failing.
same goes for guys. i'm lucky to be very sensitive to other people's reactions, so i usually find out what he likes just by paying attention
