i joined last summer as a joke. we were slightly intoxicated watching cable at a friend's house and the commercial came up. so i made up a profile & joined.

eventually i felt bad. even though i *never* contacted anyone, and i remained strictly a superficial voyeur, looking at partial profiles and favorite books, there were a couple of people who seemed really interested and i didn't know how to say "hey, sorry, i'm just a spy in the house of love"

eventually the thing disconnects you when you refuse to reply.
