I think true abstinence keeps the mind clean from the overwhelming desires of sexuality. I mean, think about it, we've all been horny since we were kids, and we all gratify our sexual impulses freely, why not cut it out for a while? Not necessarily to test your will power, but rather to clean out yr mind from the sexual clutter..

There is nothing wrong with sexuality like there is nothing wrong with gummy bears, but its good to cut em out from time to time. You can't live on gummy bears

Like a sexual enema so to speak.

I had a dream the other night that was very sexual in nature and I started saying to myself "master of my domain" "master of my domain" and the dream ended. There seems to be a mix of not really thinking about it and not desiring it and intensely desiring it, going back and forth.

It's much like working very hard and not really stopping to rest or eat. At times you feel completely unaware of your needs, and at other times you feel very aware of them. But you work through them and they subside.

I actually like to push myself past my limit in that regard. . . in the spring some days I'd cut wood that had fallen over the winter (we had a lot this year) until I was too tired to so much as make myself food.
