Typically, I would say no, but due to the instances of psych/mental issues today/in this scene, I think it's important to talk to others. Panda Bear for example was taking exactly what i was for a while, and was a strong proponent of trying to get through it and off the drugs, vs. being prescribed them for life.

Absolutely. Mental illness is everywhere and it's not something to be ashamed about or be afraid of divulging. I find the internet to be a perfect place to get things off of my chest without worrying about negative reactions. Because, if you write bullshit, I can choose not to read it but if you write something worthwhile in the current situation, it's well worth it.
Discussing mental illness is the only way to educate the uneducated on the painful truth about how miserable and emotionless you are taking ssris for long periods of time. Medicating the problem is not solving it.
