shit, you lost your webcam and photoshop? that's really a hard hit given what you use the computer for most.
I'm pretty clueless about Windows problems, but it sounds like what you really want to do is upgrade the OS without fucking it up again (not meant as a dis). You sound like you've only got a partially installed OS at the moment.
