We let our dread go untrimmed and do little as possible to manipulate or control the growth, strictly speaking, we let nature take its course. I did not make my dreads, I did not twist my dreads, I did not have to keep 'dreading' my dreads, my hair simply grew that way for near 8 years naturally.
