I know you're talking about tobacco..but I quit smoking POT about 3 years ago. I was USED TO IT. HOOKED, yeah, but I REALLY enjoyed it. Then it became a truth serum...and I dwelled on the negative aspects of my life..not LALA land, so when it became UNfun...it was EASY to quit.

However, things aren't NEARLY as FUN as they used to be...the physical part was EASY..but the mental part..the "friend" of my partnership with POT was gone....I miss THAT. I miss being of the mental state to enjoy being high...

I'm just glad POT didn't have the same physical addiction as tobacco...but hell, I AM mentally addicted, and want the joy I experienced while smoking POT to return. I just have to remain strong so I don't smoke again then face the heebie jeebies I got HIGH...

Does that help? Probably not, but I wanted to share my experience with what I smoked and my quitting.

I want to smoke again someday, if I can ever exorcise my demons !!!!!
