no.. not at all actually. rather I was mentioning that in the South there are Southerners who are ignorant, backwoods and racist, and that Florida is not some miraculous exception. How could all the South be racist, half of the place are black folk? Further, I have known and been close to very many white southerners who were by no means racist or ignorant or backwoods. I have also met plenty of ignorant, racist, backwards (not backwoods) southerners. you misunderstand me completely.
