All of my pcs, they never advertised me of newer bios releases, evah...
sounds a bit suspicious to me, also coz bios updates can be quite dangerous (in terms of possible problems when something goes wrong during the update) and are suggested only if you're experiencing problems with the current one installed on your macheeeeen or if you reeeeeaaally need the "new features" (if any) featured in a different release (such as extended cpus compatibility etc etc).
But now that I think about it, I tend to eradicate all the non-necessary software from my pcs, so that asus updater thing could be 100% legit.

Feel free to ignore what I say today, I'm currently od'ing on corn flakes.
