I got no beef with you, and the 'my friend' was not condescending or patronizing in the least, it was honest and sincere.

what sweeping generalizations are those which I made? I did not in any place say ALL floridians are racist, nor all southerners. Why can't Florida be the South for 'positive' southern characteristics? Just because I chose to dwell on negative factors does not discredit the Southern status of Florida but regardless..
