what sweeping generalizations are those which I made? I did not in any place say ALL floridians are racist, nor all southerners. Why can't Florida be the South for 'positive' southern characteristics? Just because I chose to dwell on negative factors does not discredit the Southern status of Florida but regardless.. I am sorry, if cultural arguments won't stick with you, surely geography will, Florida is most definitely the southern most portion of the continental United States. Get over it, its the South! I don't need to smooth things out.
You don't need to act so benevolent and friendly and non-judgemental, this isn't nickelodeon or something.
The fact that I get angry at things people say does not mean I dislike them or can't be friends with them.
I just don't feel like acting like a carebear the whole time. It feels more honest that way.
