yes, yes, yes, like molly bloom, yes! eventually we will migrate again. but we're retooling the shop. arranging the armies. sharpening the blades. upgrading the hardware. you get the idea. here it's cheap and life is low-maintenance and one can focus on things that are not just paying rent (my mount pleasant monthly blood pint was more like a gallon). but yeah, i miss it badly...

the other thing is we have family here and it's good to have that, in dc we had friends but friends aren't blood and when the shit hits the fan who else sticks by you? you know how those things are.

anyway, as soon as we're mobile again we'll keep you posted. though we might see the left coast this summer-- jeezus, dc in summer is hell. but maybe in the fall? hm.....
