I was wondering for quite some time, what kind of gear SY use in Echo Canyon, I mean, do they record to Laptops (digital) or they keep it analog tape?

I think, as far as I know, they often use(d) Dat tapes as a medium, but as you can see in the demonlover-soundtrack-making of, jim is working on a Mac (?!) beneath the huge soundboard.
so I would think they will use at least digital mediums for non-sound-influencing production processes. oh my god, do anybody understand this? |
