well i'm at school right now waiting for some shit and i'm bored so i'm writing. anyhoo, i just went to the store while i was waiting and ended up paying like $8.50 for a fucking magazine!!! what the hell kinda shit is that? fuck i didn't know it was that much untill i got to the register and they already rang me up. i didn't want to look like a cheap ass bitch so i bought it. i know that it was stupid and there are alot better things that $8.50 could go towards but i dunno why i did it. grrrrr.... anyhoo i bought it cause it was like a special tribute issue to kurt cobain and there are like a lot of interviews in it and stuff and it looks like an interesting read. there's a pick of kurt with sy so that was a plus. anyway entertain me while i'm waiting!!!!!!

A lot of import porn costs about the same, perhaps it's the notorious Kurt and Courtney do Pam and Tommy mag?

i don't know why the hell it was so expensive. it's guitar magazine so maybe that's an expensive mag. but there's like nothing in here about guitars which is funny.

I'd like to subscribe to a few good mags, but I find it difficult to find ones that have quality info. I really like Exclaim @#$$%, but that's a free newspaper that's distributed across canada and focuses more on indie rock.

i buy 'dazed and confused' mostly for inspiration for photographs, but they do quite good interviews with bands, last month was the yeah yeah yeahs and this month is the red hot chilli peppers. with alot of music magazines the interviews are like 2/3 pages in dazed they do like 12 pages, shit loads of photographs, a diskography, and interview the bands producers too.
i also quite like Uncut magazine although i rarely buy it. |

I've had a subscription to Rolling Stone since I was like 14. It's dirt cheap and relatively informative. Do I live by the magazine? Fuck no! There is usually at least one cool thing in every issue that I am interested in/enjoy reading about. The new issue has a swell interview in it with by boy Eddie Vedder. Plus, what else would I read while dropping a deuce?

The only music mags I have ever purchased regularly are the Wire and Ptolemaic Terrascope, both of which are not cheap. They are, however, both worth it.
I also believe magazines put their prices on the covers. |

I would have to agree, Urb is a great mag & so is, fuck I forgot the name; all good though. Check out CMB, it's also a good one.

I get Tapeop magazine just because it's free.
I honestly have no idea, most of the time, about what is being written. |
