They picked up a new bass player who wasn't there for the first album, but was just getting started with Dimensional Bleedthrough. His vocals and basswork definitely complete the band as far as I'm concerned.
I agree this new one is overall their best work yet. They actually play riffs together this time! DB was fucking exhausting as all three of them were playing different shit over each other throughout the whole album.

Well I think it was interesting how they'd clash before but now they don't do it so much -- like you said, theyp lay together a lot, but they also know when to pull apart. Adds a whole new dynamic to the sound. Hearing how they approach the "tremolo picking as fast as humanly possible" thing riffs from completely different angles is inspiring, startling, exhilerating, and ... uhh .. great.

i like this way better than dimensional bleedthru. this is almost as good as the s/t ... it may be. need to listen more

It's awesome, of course. It's tough to top the first one for me though.....maybe in time.
I hope they play DC sometime soon.
