Lee + Tim Barnes open final Sleater-Kinney show of 2015

Here's a slew of pix fr the soft re-opening of the Market Hotel last week - the space is very cool (if still almost a construction site) and you can see the stage from the platform of the JMZ train! SK were supercharged (and ready to be off tour!) and it was nice of them to request some 'electric noise' as the opener to their final show of 2015. Tim and I will meet again later this year to levitate Austin...

I mentioned on twidder i wished these shows were in LA.. or shit even anywhere on westcoast i would have went from San Diego to Portland to see it (would have had an excuse to visit family anyway)

Nice pics. Lee's guitar looks nicely hammered and beaten... and dang, those shots with the bow disintegrating!

Saw Sleater Kinney a few weeks ago, definitely an enthusiastic live band! Never really gave a their albums a fair listen but they sounded great live.
