I bought NME religiously between 1994-1998, but was put off by the brutal interview/character assassination of SY at the time of A Thousand Leaves. You can probably find it online somewhere.
In hindsight, Steven Wells (who wrote the offending piece) is a brilliant writer, and the magazine was much better then than it is now. Anyway, nice that SY are getting some respect from NME again, for what it's worth. |
