New SY Tribute/ CD Cover Art 'Competition'

Hi! As you might have already noticed, i am putting together this Sonic Youth Tribute album. In the thread http://www.sonicyouth.com/gossip/showthread.php?t=380 i am looking for your recordings, in this thread i am looking for your paintings, drawings, photos, whatever you can find in your art archive, that you think would be suitable for the Tribute CD cover art. i opened a new mail account on gmail especially for sonic youth tribute purpuses sonic.tribute@gmail.com so you can mail anything there

Rules:
1. You must be the author of the art you are posting, or it can be a parody to an existent sonic youth cover art that you made.
2. If you want your photo to cover the whole CD it must be at least 1440 x 1440 pixels, 300 dpi (dots per inch)! however you can post smaller pictures, but then they just won't cover the whole CD
3. format: any format for Photoshop or Corel is acceptable, tiff is preferable... if you send in jpg or gif or other shitty formats, make sure they are maximum quality
4. send your art to: sonic.tribute@gmail.com
5. dont design the cover itself, just the art, i will add fonts and stuff to it and design a final product

its because i dont yet know yet what the title of the album will be.

we will see how the things go on from there. probably i will design some CD covers from your best pictures, and make a poll which CD cover to use

or just make it on my own? like... daydream nation with a candle light out or something

I would definetly apply for this contest, but I have no way of sending my work besides UPS, or FedEx. Damn, I hate this computer!

I'm applying! Is it ok if all I have is paint? I have a program that can convert .BMP to PNG and stuff, but that's as pimp as this pc gets.

in fact better than jpg or any other format... upload it to yousendit, i suspect its large
