i went to Kiel a few times, actually, as some of my family also lives there. seemed to me like a German equivqlent of Dunkerque. now that i think about it, my brother lived there for one year. from his window, he would see submarines leaving the harbour. oh and i remember playing with my cousin at throwing at each other jellyfishes - the ones that had landed on the shore... that was probably in Kiel or near Kiel... but I have no idea where I'm going with this.

yeah i love berlin. lived here for a year or so and been visiting various parts of germany for many years.
i have a real love hate relationship with the place though. its very good but it drives me mad and can be really frustrating. its virtually impossible to get a job as well. i have visited a few other parts of germayn but mainly in the east which is somewhere that i really liked and would reccomend people visit before it gets swallowed up with consumerism.
