I just mentioned this in the 'Reena' poll, but it's probably best where evryone can see it. There's a link at the homepage now that takes you to a ''Rather Ripped' page, and also alowing you to stream 'Reena' and 'Incinerate', which is nice. Thought you might like to know!
http://www.sonicyouth.com/alt-main/rippedpop.html. they're both good but I don't like them as much as 'SleepingAround' and 'Pink Steam'. (sorry if this has already been posted during my brief absence - I couldn't se it in the list).

Am I the only one thats trying to hold off until the official release to listen to the album? This is actually my first time doing this, but Ive decided to hold off downloading or listening to any of the tracks before I actually purchase the album when it comes out. I want to hear the entire thing while holding the CD and artwork, etc in my hands.
Anyone else holding off til the official release? |

I'll listen to anything that the band are OK with - the Thurston solo stuff (like the BBC interview), or this. I was happy to hold off until I saw this on the website!

The streaming doesn't work for me. It just takes me to the title page of the site. Any help?

I know! Its so fucking hard to resist! I find myself being more and more tempted to listen each day. We should start a support group or something. I know it will pay off in the end though. Just gotta keep my mind on other things. Good luck to you, Kegmama! |

I got into SY in 2004 when Sonic Nurse had just been released so this is the firstSY album that I will be around to see released, not counting reissues and SYRs. I've only listened to the 2 tracks that have been released by the band.
