Africa Trek is the incredible journey of husband and wife Alex and Sonia Poussin. For three years the French couple walked 8,700 miles across Africa, from the Cape of Good Hope to the Sea of Galilee. During their journey, which they personally filmed, they endured fatigue, extreme thirst, blazing sun, prowling hyenas, malaria and more.
I love this show, this couple just walked across Africa for two years, and went every, with no supplies, finding water daily, living a truly rural African life, and more importantly, through this effort gaining the trust of everyday Africans, and in so offering the rare perspective into their lives. Usually film crews or foreigners [or both!] go into rural Africa and make a spectacle of themselves, pulling up in nice cloths in air-conditions 4 wheel drives, drinking mineral water and eating packed food. Africans are need less to say suspicious of such folk. When some strange white folks come walking up the back road with nothing but the tent on their back one pair of cloths, the are taken in as locals. fantastic! also proves my point that:
