Gaetz for AG and Gabbard for DNI. Can anyone make this up?
I suppose that all of the protestations about Trump's mental fitness went nowhere, electorally. Does that mean that he is, in fact, mentally fit? I would argue that these two nominations prove otherwise. It's almost as if we are seeing a competition to determine the worst possible candidates. 5 Senators have to disobey Trump in order for sanity to prevail. Will this happen in America Today? I think not. Ironically, these two idiots in these two positions will backfire on Trump. But he is too stupid to understand any of this. |

Trump Picks 2.0 is much scarier than 1.0, and I can't wait for Inauguration Speech 2.0

Early indications are that The Senate is not 100% Trumptard. This surprises me. Although, we'll see when the confirmation hearings take place. I'm not holding my breath.
I'm rotflmao about Johnson/Jordan et al (and Trump!) not wanting this Ethics Report on Gaetz to come out. Whether it comes out or not, it is a gift that keeps on giving. Isn't this fun so far? And we are 10 days post election. Speaking of elections, what happened to all this talk of election fraud?

It is "fraud and cheating" if you lose. It is a "fair" election if you win.
That's their braindead logic.

You can now work 80 hours a week for your government and get paid NOTHING at all!
Congratulations! a millionaire is asking you to work for him for free .... in other news: it's a real shame, "my" government nearly collapsed today, but unfortunately they managed to find enough glue to stay put. But it's in shambles so let's wait and see how long it will last

It's the monumental elephant in the room. But the half of USA that was consumed by this suddenly doesn't give a shit. Mindboggling. America is completely lost.

I see that Gaetz isn't quite as stupid as Dear Leader.

If you told me 20 years ago I'd be in support of republican talking points, I'd vomit at the thought of it.
What I couldn't have foreseen is the conservative movement becoming the one pushing for freedom of speech. |

yes, democrats conceded too much to their own maoist wing. it's been a thing for a while but hear me out (for the sake of freedom of speech)-- who in the "conservative movement" is actually conservative anymore? what they have now is right wing populism fueled by moral panics and slightly high prices (not even hyperinflation like the 30s, but people are more spoiled and overreact more now lol) you'd think we're in economically wrecked argentina or criminally hijacked el salvador, but nope. the american economy is in good shape, crime is historically low, and inflation is now back down to almost normal, although yes prices are sticky, so old high prices are annoying people until wages catch up. everything is good and normal, but the crowd "feels" things are bad and cults of personality are anything but conservative as mein führers of all ages show. and in 'merica, a land without kings... to see ex conservatives kissing the ring is disturbing as fuck. all that ass-licking. sure, obama was charismatic, but defied on a regular basis. this thing we have now is grotesque and with economic policy, it's shaping up to be anything but conservative. republicans always cry about debt when out of power, but expand the deficit when in power. trumpo promises to remove any semblance of fiscal restraint, and his followers *do not care* anyway, morgellons pizzagate jewish laser something lol. alternative facts! but yes, the world is fucked basically hahahaha. we just have passionate extremes now. and you can't reason with a crowd. well you can, but just at a very rudimentary level. read gustave le bon ... and since i can't trust the public i'm just looking for a private solution now. which really is not a solution, just a temporary shelter from the storm ... okay okay enough of this depressing talk hahahaha okay - but about economic policy, im interested in conversing with anyone who is willing to keep it rational. tariffs, trade wars, fiscal and monetary policy in us, japan, europe, china... anyone? bueller? anyone? |
