Anyone else is totally in love with that record? I can't get it out of my head! Most reviews I read about it seem to find it meh, which I can't understand. The main complain about it seems to be that there are too many tracks (yes, there are 29 tracks in less than 50 minutes), but I think almost all of these are excellent. It's hard to pick one in particular, but overall it works as a damn fantastic album. All tracks seem to fade into each other, and it works really well.
I love it. If you haven't yet, you all really should check it. One of my 2009 favorite so far. |

Yeah I gave it one listen so far. Pretty interesting record, even a bit daring since it doesn't really go anywhere or do anything. It's so disconnected and uneven. As usual for Prefuse 73. Not something I'm really into, all the little random annoying sounds floating around and so on don't do it for me. But all of his albums have quite a few tracks on 'em, so that's a weird criticism.

this, actually. Yeah. One Word Extinguisher was close to being a "I love this album" album. But yeah.
