For those that don't know Jonas Mekas is releasing 365 short films everyday this year and todays happens to be a short of Sonic Youth playing at St. Anne's in 1999. They are only free the day of release to download. Just a little heads up. Cheers.

Wow, great first post. Jonas Mekas is one of the most important figures in New York's underground movie making and promoting since the 60's. I've read of this on his website, but I must have missed the Sonic Youth short bit. Thanks a lot.

For those wondering, it's a pretty live and instrumental version of "free city rhymes".
Stange fact: Lee is on the right of the stage (???)

edit: looks like the sound is only in the left channel, or is my pc going mad?

damn, i made a point of downloading these films daily a little while back but sort of abandoned this project... only to read this post on October 9th..
