I think my boyfriend's having me on here but is it true that Sonic Youth played somewhat of a secret gig in Brighton, England not so long ago?

no i dont think so. the last times they played in the uk where.
NYC Ghosts & Flowers tour 2000 1st July - Sheperds bush empire Murray Street Tour 2002 22nd June - Manchester academy 23rd June - Bristol academy 24th June - Sheperds bush empire Sonic Nurse tour 2004 2nd September - Brixton academy they did play in brighton years and years ago, its all on that 'Blood on the beach' video. |

Yeah I went to that, was at the Brighton Dome.
Apparently the other day, MTV2 were showing footage of a live SY gig in Brighton so I'm guessing its that gig they did many moons ago. |
