no idea, but that is a one of the sonics most kick ass songs. thurston and lee use prolly about a thousand different pedals on every song

The effects they use are on the Gearography section of this website!
Use it! and they don't use alot of effects on their albums since ATL... If you are talking about the beginning section of Pink Steam I believe Lee uses an E-Bow to get that sound (at least live thats what he used, though i'm basing this off of memory and soemof those Rather Ripped shows are foggy to me) |

It doesn't sound like an effect more of a tone. So look at the gear and find which pedals are tone shapers like EQ sort of thing.
I know there is some modulation on Rather Ripped esp on Incinerate... |
