Howdy folks,
I've been wanting to get back into mp3 file sharing lately, but I'm wondering what people's favorite programs are these days. I used to use winmx, but the last time I used it, the network had been broken and you needed to use some kind of hack to gain access to the new network. My search results definitely dwindled after that. I've been trying limewire, but the files I've been getting have been so-so at best...a lot of bad files and mislabled files. So I'd like to try something else, but don't want to randomly grab the first thing I find off google and end up with a bunch of spyware on my computer. What are some favorites out there? |

eMule (download full albums in archive format, it's much more convenient).
EDIT: however beware of the loads of false servers, I usually use DonkeyServerNo1, DonkeyServerNo2 or ByteDevils because they're reliable. |

soulseek
soulseek did i mention soulseek? soulseek's really the only thing worth using... though for new album leaks, like if they JUST leaked, a good method i always use is just to type the album name followed by "torrent" in google and it brings up random sites. that's a good strategy. but for everything else? soulseek. |

^^agreed.
Limewire is no good. It's basically like the old Napster, but things have improved much since then. Soulseek is great because it's easy to get full albums... with Limewire you have to search song by song, and that gets old.

Soulseek. It does have a few bugs unlike limewire, although it is still MUCH better of a p2p program!
