I've been listening to some Rites of Spring and Fugazi and I said to myself "Guy Picciotto is the Iggy Pop of hardcore punk" (both probably weigh under 120 lbs and have alluring voices with a bit of raspiness)

So that got me thinking. . .
Who's the Elton John of punk?
Who's the Billy Joel of noise rock?
The Prince of math rock?
The Rod Stewart of rap?
