has anyone seen this? i haven't seen all 14 parts yet, but it looks very interesting so far. it shows how crazy that country really is. the country is just like 1984. i need to see those movies where they had the same white guy play the evil united states president in every single one of their movies. |

I watched it this morning. A nice documentary with some good footage - I liked especially the part with the Tea Girl (how they played table tennis together - surreal) who kind of represented the "human" side of this twisted regime. But all in all, it was nothing you would not already know if you're interested in this country.

Ive not watched the link, but by what youre saying i assume its about the guy who defected from the Us Army to North Korea during the Korean war.
I remember watching that a couple of years ago, it was very much a personal documentary with the politics in the background i thought, and all the more interesting for it. edit: Seems like it isnt, that should teach me for not opening random links on the internet *slaps finger* but yeah there was a documentary about the American guy who defected during the Korean War, i forget its name and his but i found it to be very interesting.

i still need to see that dudes movies. i bet they are great.
my favorite part of the doc. is when they have you sit in the dining room all by yourself even though it's a huge ass place and they show you all this food, but it's nasty looking shit. |
