it does sound almost excactly like it...
it was the sixties, lots of songs sounded similar then.
the beggining of waterloo sunset sounds kinda like im not down by the clash. (the later coment had nothing to do with the former)

also, london calling has the same little intro bassline as dead end street by the kinks

Bubblegum..The Runaways, Joan jett was in there..yea..hmm funny i might have that kinks song somewhere they have so many albums besides my cassettes my freind just gave me a 80 min cd of theirs...,
