http://www.sonicyouth.com/gossip/showthread.php?t=29185 http://www.sonicyouth.com/gossip/showthread.php?t=15294 Too recent to have been mentioned there: Nels Cline - "Snare, Girl" Fred Frith has covered "Hits Of Sunshine" and "Karen Revisited" live (Zurich, 2012-10-12). There may be four billion more, 99% of them unacceptable.

these are a pretty cool covers of Diamond Sea, Becuz and Inhuman on violins and cellos. Becuz could have been much better with a different singer though ...
Les Enfants d'Icare - The Diamond Sea Becuz (Sonic Youth) - Les Enfants d'Icare ft. Liam Morrissey Inhuman (Sonic Youth) - Les Enfants d'Icare ft. Sabino Pace @blunderbuss: that's a great tune, thanks for sharing!

tUnE-yArDs covered "The Burning Spear", and Callers did "Shadow Of A Doubt" and "The World Looks Red", at Our Concert Could Be Your Life, the 10th anniversary celebration of Michael Azerrad's Our Band Could Be Your Life book.
https://www.npr.org/2011/05/24/13650...-to-80s-icons# I think this part of the show started at 62:02, but you'll have to find out for yourself. ^
