(Sorry if this has been mentioned before, I just felt the urge)
Has anyone else watched DRIFT? I was lucky enough to pick up this DVD (w/Book) last weekend. It is even better than I had expected. Really good. I wish I could experience this in person. I just wanted to mention it incase anyone here was thinking about getting the DVD, you should PS. Ranaldo not Renaldo (I'm sure you know who I'm talking about) |

I got this as a random present fore my girlfriend, and--although I enjoy it--I haven't been able to watch it all the way through w/o falling asleep.

Yeah, I'll admit that I have not watched the entire video in one sitting either. It almost gets too intense if you don't let your mind wander.

Get it today... no get it now! it's amazing. I was lucky enough to see it projected on the big screen last year... it's one of my favourite Lee moments.

I was a little disappointed by it actually.. only watched it a few times.. i was expecting something a bit more frenetic.. its interesting.. but at times a bit too structured like a slideshow..
speaking of favourite lee moments, i was just listening to the Birchville Cat Motel collaboration... fucking sick.. completely OTHER.. |

it's on pitchfork.tv now:
http://pitchfork.com/tv/#/episode/19...singer-drift/1 In preparation for Sonic Youth taking over Pitchfork.tv next week, we give you this hour-long improvisatory collaboration between SY guitarist Ranaldo and visual artist Singer in its entirety. |
