Daydream Nation was recorded there, but I don't think it exists anymore. Obviously, it was located on Greene St., most of which runs through the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan. But does anybody know the address? It would be great to stand outside the building where Daydream Nation was recorded and soak up the vibe.

i remember reading somewhere that the daydream nation liner photos were taken w/ the band standing outside of la monte young's space, i forget what it's called, "dream house" or something like that, a perpetual drone/lighting room environment.
i am glad that daydream nation is in the library of congress. dudes should hear that hundreds of years from now and rock out in their spaceships or whatever. |
