I really like them.
I think their third album Psychedelische Musique is probably my favorite, as they released it on Freek records and made it an album of complete and total out-there weirdness immediately after doing their 2nd (great, but very "accessible") album on Beggars Banquet. I think it was a bold move, and they risked alienating people to make a great LP. Much different than Loop, and more interesting than Main to my ears. They also did a fantastic 7" EP around that time. Underrated. |

Why did i know that you would post on this thread Savage Clone?A man of good taste you are.I've always thought that the album i own of theirs had an eponymous name because ''Psychedelische Musique''appears on the inner sleeve. It's a beautifully freaky album.Do you own Main's permanent e.p.?

Yeah, I have that, Hydra Calm, Dry Stone Feed and the Hz set. I like Main, but I mostly like the earlier stuff. Later on they became so isolationally minimal that I was hardly ever in the right frame of mind to listen. I appreciate it more than I actually like it. Hair and Skin are a very variable group that suit a lot of different moods. Pity they weren't more popular.

I bought the album Jo In Nine G Hell a few days, and my god what a great album it is, the last track 'Pipeline' is just one of the most sublimely brilliant tracks I've come across in monthes. What album should be my next step with this band?
