I have been meaning to get into this band since I have heard nothing but great things about them. I decided to buy tickets for one of their shows on the 26th (the venue is very close to my house and tickets were cheap)and they were great. I was not expecting them to be so good. I also saw them the next day since I was at Coachella. I was right up front and again, they were really good. So, what album should I start out with? And what are your opinions of JAMC?

For me Psycho Candy and Barbed Wire Kisses are the only ones really worth listening to. I like some of the rest o.k., but not at all on the same par with those two, which are amazing.

Well Psychocandy and Barbed Wire Kisses are the ones that really capture what the band was about initially.
Most of their albums I feel are underrated because they get compared to Psychocandy. |

It has to be Psychocandy. It's head and shoulders above the rest.
They've just been announced on the bill for Jarvis Cocker's Meltdown Festival in a few months time. |
