Is LA the most confusing place you've ever been?
What's with the organic food only policy?... |

those freeways are just scary, i wasn't driving, but damn i was freaking out just being a passenger, but really is confusing is why the drivers were so aggressive at the LAX Terminal
otherwise it was quite nice, love the red light nights contributed by light pollution |

Pantophobia, that is why you take the streets, under no circumstances should you ever get on the 405. That is just a mess.

it is somewhat confusing simply because of its sheer size.

Only real men drive in LA. In fact, I rarely drive here in SF because I learned to drive in LA and SF drivers are all airheaded yuppies who forget that they're at the wheel.

my experience of driving in LA was somewhat marred by breakdowns, standing still on the freeway for 50 minutes and it making my snot turn black because of all the fumes.

Yeah, the freeways are horrible, but that is why most L.A. cars are decorated like a home. because we spend the majority in the cars.

LA is the size of the very east end of london to the very far edge of gloucester.

I was in LA for two short days, and didn't enjoy a minute of it.
I regret not spending more time there now. That is, I'd like to visit again, for a longer period of time. |

Yeah it is. LA is amazing, on one end you have Suburbia, that's where I live, the middle is Downtown, no one bothers to go there. Around downtown, you have your places to go, Here look at this map.
http://www.laalmanac.com/LA/lamap2.htm The colored areas belong to LA. |

Not enough public transportation.
Lots of good shows. Awesome scenery outside of the city. I could live without the wildfires, earthquakes, and mudlsides. I love the Mexican food and culture...but hey, we're getting that in NYC now too. ha ha!

Earthquakes hardly happen man. The scenery is very nice, transportation does suck, and it will never get better. |

i'm going to use that one in the future..... if you ask me, LA is like one extended jam version of shakedown street... it would be a far more attractive place and perhaps, like mecca or jerusalem, could be a spiritual center for the world, if it weren't for all those damned houses, factories, buildings and roads...... there is a certain spiritual current that flows out of the Los Angeles area, and the whole world knows it in different ways.
