Going to see Dino Jr tonight, this band was added as additional opener, which I discovered just now, wasn't listed yet last time I checked.

hey, does Moshe play in that band?

anyway, just got back (I live 20 minutes from the venue they played at). I liked them, some songs were good, some songs weren't. I taped it, will be on Dime by the weekend probably. Bought their CD after the show, will check it out tomorrow, my ears are too deaf now.

Dinosaur was great but way too loud for my likings ... they didn't play Just Like Heaven which is one of my favourite songs ever

Yeah, i was gonna go to that show but I didnt have the money to, haha same here with Just Like Heaven, its like one of the best songs ever. I acutally prefer Dino's cover...

UR are pretty good live, i was gonna buy the cd after the show, but their merch table was replaced with dino's.

They look great on stage actually, and the girl is totally awesome...

just had a very quick listen to their CD, it ain't bad at all.
Their merch was on the same table as Dino's was, and the band was selling it themselves. The girl was good indeed, her growl voice reminded me of Babes In Toyland, but she was much prettier.

re: Just Like Heaven: same here, even though I love the Cure's version too. I have it on vinyl 12", one of a few vinyls I ever bought, it's got three tracks on one side, the flipside is a work of art, skulls etc engraved in white onto the wax.

Haha thats totally awesome, I want that single. I like the song almost as much as MBV's You Made Me Realise...

Werent UR louder/noisier live? on their myspace page, they sound all neat and stuff and the girl barely even sings...

edit: I liked her Jagstang, had a nice little color to it... The guys are pretty funny to, there was a person with a really cool lookin hat and the guys from UR were just discussing the hat with him, it has fun.
