This is a short part of a song from "Indochine" a french pop band... this song was released in 1993... does it remind you something ?
I don't think that they inspired sonic youth... it's just a coincidence I think but it's funny !! no ? |

so? the band Factrix has a song that sounds uncanilly similar to Protect Me You. If Sonic Youth were influenced by anybody they would say so.
