i don't have any of his books, sadly - i'm listening to some solo thurston bootleg from oh-six. he does some spoken stuff at the start, poems and talk, songs later.
i can up that, if you'd like? or try to transcribe some of it. there's a lot of sonic lyrics up in here, the more i listen to it. right now he's doing some "radical adults" ... |

aah I have one mp3 with that 'Thurston Moore performance March 2006' - with poetry than songs, 87 minutes. songs are: inicinerate, sleepin around, do you believe in rapture, pink steam, or. then some people show up, and they're doing a song called 'they are bombing the garden of eden'. it's kinda nice.
I was asking for sensational thunderclap poem?

it's just the first verse of thunderclap or so. mixed around a little bit. first person, different wording. "i will not run from noise meditation..."

Thurston regurgitates a lot of his poetry as lyrics I've noticed. I remember reading a couple of his chapbooks, Nice War and Fuck a Hippie, but be a Punk and noticing some Murray Street lyrics.
Sensational Fix i did not fade from the noise mediation. i stopped abruptly while spinning down. this is not a vanishing act. it is a gesture in silence for the sweet retreat the heart has made in regard + honor to the activist girl (Alabama Wildman, pp. 92, water row press 2000) |

Yeah, I was actually just re-reading some of Alabama Wildman last night and noticed that. Sensational Fix wasn't my favorite poem in there but oh well....I still really enjoy Thunderclap! (oddly enough, that's the only song on the album that my partner can't stand...)
