For anyone who is going to the Toronto show OR anyone who has been to Massey Hall

Hello
I am attending the Massey Hall show and I have seats on the floor. I find it strange for Sonic Youth to be playing a seated venue, so I'm curious, have people ever just canned the seats and rushed the stage at MASSEY HALL?!
seems WACK. I hope so.

Only been to a few shows at Massey but have never seen it happen.

not going to happen... not rushing the stage at least... doubt it will. At least I've never seen it happen. People stand up and shit... but mostly people stay sitting.
Massey Hall is an amazing venue to see bands in. the sound is amazing so you'll enjoy the show for sure!
I can't wait for this show!

People generally stay put - I had a friend told harshly to return to her seat when she was dancing BESIDE her chair during a Pet Shop Boys show... so I think a stage rush is unlikely...

I've been there countless times and the audiences have always remained within the confines of the designated seating area, and stand up throughout the duration of the show. It will be a great show, albeit somewhat of an odd venue choice for a band like SY.

Last few shows I've seen there have included people staying SEATED - not even standing in their seated area... but I'd hope people will get on their feet for SY...
