hey, i thought we should have a thread where we could post new articles revealing new information about the new album... so that we dont create a new thread for every article... here is mine from yesterdays edition of billboard, revealing some new infos about song and who is singing and such...
http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/searc..._id=1002237084 ....Other highlights include Thurston Moore's propulsive "Incinerate," which seems evolved from the Sonic Youth classic "Teenage Riot," and the Lee Ranaldo-sung "Rats,".... A NEW TEENAGE ROIT??? CAN'T WAIT!!!

I just have to say that I think "Or" is a wicked song title.
I can't wait for June.

I was psyched even more when I heard O'Rourke wasn't going to be on the next album.
I luv O'Rourke and have since he joined Gastr Del Sol and loved Brise-Glase, but I just don't think O'Rourke really made SY "better" in any way, not even production-wise. This is the most psyched I've been about a SY release in a decade!!! |

I like Jim.....I thought he added some nice beef on Murray Street and Sonic Nurse, but yeah, I'm not weeping because Jim left.
