I want to stay awake as long as I can. At least 36 hours. I am about 15 hours into it now. What are some good ways of staying awake? keeping in mind that there are sleeping people in the house. I don't drink coffee. I hate it, and I don't know how to make it. Any suggestions?

Taking a shower is a good idea. I hope it doesn't wake anyone up...movies might make me fall asleep unles they are good. Arrested Development marathon??

stay active, even if you are watching tv switch to different activities. i may watch tv (snl, conan, taxi reruns are all good late nights) then record some music (headphones) surf the internet, do something productive on the computer (programming, web dev, homework, tweaking linux) then go take a shower, get something to eat.
so dont really do one thing for a long time. for me reading puts me out. ive got a show tommorow so i may be recording, burning and spray-painting acually sometimes me and some friends sneak out of the house at like 1:00 with a prearranged meeting place and go on nightwalk, walking around the area. thats always fun and passes time.

Music used to work for me but doesn't anymore, I also used to read but I'd get too into the book and not be able to put it down, I'd be up the whole night reading. At the moment I find watching a movie helps though.

the best thing you could do is go outside and take a walk. My friend and I jump out of his window at 3 in the morning and go down to his woods with no flashlight or anything, we feel really cool but have to keep alert so that keeps us up for a while...
