How sick does this movie look?I played the game once before a few years back. Check out the trailer if you haven't seen it yet.:

I was scared by the demo so never played the full game. I'm notoriously chicken when it comes to resident evil type games.

The trailer looks like the movie has potential anyway. I'm always dubious of horror movies that have a budget

1. SH it not a "resident evil type game".
2. SH is what brought me here, in more levels. noise interludes of music, abstract arpeggios, industrial symphonies and a Lynchian plot.
3. SH came out in 1999 and that's actually the very only one. i don't mind about the others, played thru them... but the first SH led me to a lot of good things in my life that include SONIC YOUTH, DAVID LYNCH, PSYCHIC TV, THROBBING GRISTLE...
4. this movie is unfortunately going to be shit, IMHO. poor, poor acting.
5. did i tell you how much i loved the first game?

you should play it johhny!

edit: oh actually one of my bands is goign to be featured on the official SILENT HILL HEAVEN soundtrack cd... SHH is probably the best known fansite on the series...

I hope it is good. I've recently got into Silent Hill 2, and think its the scariest game I've ever played. The music really makes a difference and those mannequins really mess you up. My friend won't even play it, just throws the controller and screams haha.

it's similar to resident evil in so much as it scared the shit out of me like resident evil did when it first came out, i might give it a try if i can find it on ebay and i have someone to sit in the room with me while i play it.

I remember palying resident evil2 for the first time. Fuck! I walked down a long conrer and turned. All of a sudden this huge ass monster jumps out and scares the shit out of me.

Anyone ever play parasite eve? Thats an awesome game as well.

I don't know, maybe when I was younger. But now? I remember playing Resident Evil, and like Mr. Sheriff said, the monsters would come from no where, and maybe make me jump a bit. But all out scared?
