Any feedback is welcome. If you use these pix for anything, please give credit to me (Courtney Stine). Watermarks got a bit funky and I didn't have time to fix em. Enjoy! I have a video too: http://s50.photobucket.com/albums/f3...urrent=100.flv You can fully appreciate just how loud it was. Hope the link works. |

Thanks for posting. Love the motion shot of Kim. Am I seeing thing or has she gained a little weight, which looks much healthier on her than when I saw them in '06.

She was super-muscular. Looks like she's been working out more. Her legs are amazing. I hope to look as good as her at her age. |

it was a great show, though there didn't seem to be much crossover between the Hold Steady fans and the Sonic fans which was weird. I was surprised how crazy people up front got for Hold Steady--- jumping around, climbing on each other, finger pointing and singing along. It was like 1988 hardcore show or something and fittingly enough they name-checked 7 Seconds and Youth of Today in one of their songs. But then these same people who got crazy for HS, just stood with their arms folded for SY.
I danced hard though for SY, especially for "Jams Run Free" the dual-lead guitar instrumental climax is one of my all time favorite SY moments. Quote:

AWESOME!! Thanks for sharing. I think I was standing about 5 feet to your right and back just a little.
Watching that video reminded me of what Thurston said right after Expressway to Yr. Skull... "Thanks a lot. Jesus and the Mary Chain are next." |
