Early night tonight. I was planning a quiet evening yesterday, but Jane's best friend came round and brought her husband with her, and he and I ended up at the pub, drinking the sort of amount that I usually only drink when I don't have work the next day. I have a slight hangover today.
We were going to go to Brighton for the day tomorrow, but we've changed our plans on account of being too tired, and we're going shopping somewhere more local instead. Then on Sunday, I'll probably spend some time in the garden if the weather's okay, and then find a TV somewhere to watch Chelsea beat Arsenal. |

Playing a gig tonight.
Going bowling tommorrow which means I will miss Corsano/Bower/Murray trio in Glasgow. Fuck. Possibly playing at Glasgow Implodes noise festival on Sunday if there's time. |

I assume that means you're possibly playing at Glasgow Implodes if they have time to fit you in, not the other way around?
EDIT - Oh yes, I've just looked at a website about the event, where they admit that their organisation is so shambolic that they can't be sure if they'll be able to fit more bands in or not. Sounds like fun! |

Cleaning up and getting ready for a basement show next weekend, recording my friend's band, and also practicing with the band I used to play bass in- I'm moving to lead guitar and we're bringing a new bassist in.

I'm thinking about going to the chocolate city tonight to see a "dialogue" between Alister McGrath and Daniel Dennett. I've read several of Dennett's books. It's for a thing called "The Future of Atheism."
http://www.greer-heard.com/ There's also a meeting of something called the "EVANGELICAL PHILOSOPHICAL SOCIETY" and I'm tempted to sit in on some of it just for the humor factor. Some sample papers: God in Kant’s Ethics and Aesthetics: A Case of Mistaken Identity Reading Zarathustra Theologically (uh) The Physics of Christianity (no joke) If Christianity is True, Are Muslims Atheist? (wtf) Sat and Sun I'll be working on my thesis. |

I remember that feeling. I used to swim a mile before work a couple of times a week, and it would set me up for the day so well.

yeah, my aunt works out in the gym all the time and she is constantly getting pulled muscles etc etc, but with swimming you really can't hurt yourself, and its just exercises and relaxes your entire body.
